My favorite rare books dealer is back after a few years of hiding from the bookshelves (pun intended). and when he shows up, he shows up at the one place I never expected... Comic Con. Yes, Comic Con, the place where all geeks show up. Why? For one, his son wanted to be there. For another, it's part of a job his new client needs for him. One problem... part of his job has also made him a target for an extremely obsessed collector (known as The Collector) who knows what he has. I won't spoil it for you, so suffice it to say, what should just be a day for father and son to hang out becomes an adventure, and (yep) action.Though this is a short story (less than 100 pages), it's condensed enough yet action-packed enough to distract you from that detail and does feel like it's full-length, including Matt's trademark motormouth humor for August and shocking twists along the way that I couldn't see coming (bravo for that insane twist ending between father and son!). With how the epilogue ended, I'm quite gladly looking forward to The Deadly Hours (FINALLY!!!) next year.

I really enjoyed the plot and story line. The story kept my interest and I really love the characters! I recommend this author to everyone I know.
Love this author and his style of writing. Very fast-paced, action/adventure, edge of your seat stories. Even though this book was shorter than his usual fare, it seems like the beginning of an ongoing situation that will keep August and his family constantly looking over their shoulders for the Collector.
I love the August Adams series of booked. Ready for another adventure!
Great page turner - like the first two of this series. Though a bit short …
My only let down to this book was that it was too short! Can wait till the next August Adams adventure!

Matt offered the version of this book free on Facebook for a few days. I have to admit I was surprised it was free. I had read a previous Austin Adams Adventure and LOVED it. This one is equally good. I read this book in about three hours, it is a tad on the short side but it is a full, action-packed story, with a strong beginning, middle and a well written end with a cliff hanger that lets us know we haven't seen the last of Adams or his latest nemesis. Read this one ASAP, it is well worth it.
